1955 - 1956 Standard Three Speed Lower Bell Housing Cover With Starter
Lower bell housing cover and starter from a 3-speed non-Ultramatic car. This is from a 1955 320cid engine that was installed in my 1948 Henney-Packard Landaulet when I bought it and it is my presumption that it is a Packard item rather than aftermarket so I hope the photos can help you decide for yourself. It definitely was not original to the 1948 but I've never worked on a V8 Packard to be able to judge. The manual transmission is not available as it was sold years ago.
Shipping will be calculated after purchase once the item is packed and weighed and you will be billed separately for the actual shipping charges. The item will be shipped once payment has been received. Note that this part is in my workshop in rural Central Oregon so please note the next or current visit dates below. I do not ship the last couple days I am there but for small parts, I can bring them home with me and ship from there. My last visit was from March 4 to March 25, 2026 and the next has not yet been scheduled but I am usually there every few months, weather and my schedule allowing.
